Introducing Your Birth Doula
Hello there, I’m Alina a Birth Doula, certified lactation counselor, and my most important title a wife/mama with deep roots in Utah. I was born and raised in northern Utah, where I still live and serve families across the region. I also spent time in the small mountain town of Bishop, California, where I had the privilege of working for their county.
While in Bishop, I had the privilege of serving families through the WIC program and supporting early childhood growth as a “Parents as Teachers” educator helping parents connect with their children through developmental milestones, bonding, and play.
I’ve always had a nurturing heart. As the oldest (and only girl) of my siblings, I naturally stepped into the role of leader and caregiver early on long before I was a wife and mama myself. I was also raised in a family-run nonprofit daycare, where I grew up surrounded by little ones and developed a deep love for child development and family care.
Today, I’m completing my birth doula certification through DONA International and hold a lactation counselor certificate from UC San Diego. My approach is rooted in compassion, cultural connection, and community support. I blend my professional knowledge with my lived experience.
Whether you’re preparing for your first baby or expanding your family, I’m here to walk beside you with warmth, wisdom, and wholehearted support (and a lot of laughter). Let’s connect!

Most people think doulas catch babies, but that’s not my role. I provide emotional, physical, and informational support. I help you understand your choices big and small, comfort you through your labor, and advocate for your voice to be heard. I don’t replace your midwife or OB, rather work along side them to support you.

Most definitely! Whether it's a home birth, hospital birth, induction, cesarean, medicated, unmedicated, or something in-between, I’m here for you. Every birth deserves support, and I walk with you through whatever path yours takes.

My care is heart-centered, culturally mindful, and grounded in both intuition and practicality. I blend traditional comfort techniques with modern tools. Whether that’s offering grounding practices, supporting your spiritual side, or handing you candy when that nausea hits. I meet you where you are, without judgment. My style is warm, adaptable, and deeply rooted in the belief that your birth experience should reflect you not a one-size-fits-all method.

That’s totally normal. You don’t have to have it all figured out to reach out. A big part of my job is helping you feel less overwhelmed and more supported, no pressure, no judgment. Whether this is your first time or your fifth, I’ve got you. We’ll take it one step at a time, together.
